ROBERT W. LAUR* (Constable Bannion). Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bob is glad to be reprising his role as Constable Bannion. He has been a resident mute for the Milwaukee Opera, spent Yultides as Santa Claus, toured India and Sri Lanka as King Sextimus the Silent in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS for the U.S. State Department and Minnesota Opera Company and portrayed Franklin Delano Roosevelt in ANNIE as well as in AN EVENING WITH THE HARRIMANS for the Harriman Institute. A member of Theatre West, he’s been seen in WESTFEST, BETTY GARRETT: CLOSET SONGWRITER, FALLING UPWARD, and the 40th Anniversary Production of SPOON RIVER ANTHOLOGY. Favorite roles include Second Voice in UNDER MILK WOOD, Herbie in GYPSY, Man #2 in JACQUES BREL, Hucklebee in THE FANTASTICKS, and Mr. Sanderson in Ray Bradbury’s DANDELION WINE.
