Matthew Hoffman is a twice published author and co-writer of the hybid-documentary film "What The Bleep Do We Know?!" Originally from Philadelphia, he spent nearly a decade in New York City working as a stand-up comic and performing on stage before moving to Los Angeles 17 years ago. As a founding member of “Los Chupacabras” a four-man improvisation comedy group, he performed, produced, wrote and directed an ongoing series of shows over an eight year period that culminated in a 25 hour marathon of non-stop improvisation. He has appeared in numerous plays, in film and on radio and television, most recently as Mr. Icon on the Discovery Channel’s “Everything You Need To Know” series.
